Google is not a very popular hardware-building company. But it is famous for its software and services. It is one of the most well-known companies in the world. Display

This 2-in-1 tablet or laptop comes with a 12.3 inches LCD display with a resolution of 3000×2000 which is impressive. Moreover, color accuracy, contrast, and 400nits brightness all are fine. The display is glassy and everything looks fine. In addition to this, the touch response rate is impressive it works without any delay. The orientation of the screen fastly shifts from portrait to landscape and vice versa. So overall this Google pixel slate m3 has a decent display. As it is based on a chrome OS so, you will find ease in browsing.

Furthermore, it is a molecular display and with Pixelbook Pen support you can do your tasks more easily. For the protection of the display, it has corning gorilla glass 5.

Design

The Google Pixel Slate m3 has a sleek and thin design. The weight of this tab is very light so, it’s easy to carry and use. Moreover, the build quality is impressive with an Anodized aluminum body. Google did not compromise on quality here on this tablet. In portrait, the Pixel slate has a power key on the right side of the tablet just near the camera lens behind. The volume buttons are on the left side of the tab. It is very and noticeably thin.

This tablet is only available in one Midnight blue color. In landscape view at the top mid of, this tablet has a camera lens. Moving to the back side design it has a single camera lens on the back of the tablet at the top right corner in portrait and straight in the bottom, there is a google branding. Furthermore, the corners of the tablet look shiny and the body color of this laptop gives minimalistic look.

Performance

When we move to the performance department this laptop comes with 3 different CPUs. But here we are talking about core m3 which is the based variant of the slate series. The upper two variants of this series come with core i5 and i7 processors. The price of the core i5 is considerable which is around $850 but the Core i7 is useless. Because it costs you more than $1450. In addition to this when you add an external pad to convert it into a laptop view this tablet overall costs you more than $1550. This is not a reasonable price as in this budget you can buy a powerful laptop or iPad which have stunning performance and real value for money. This device cannot beat the iPad in the performance sector. The iPad comes with a 120Hz display this tablet also comes with an excellent display but not 120Hz.

But you can consider the base variant which has a decent price of around $800. But if the price was $100 below this then it will be the real value for money. The m3 slate comes with the Core m3 8gen which considerably provides you with a good performance. It is integrated with Intel Ultra HD 615 GPU.

Furthermore, it has Chrome OS which is a product of google so, you will get the latest updates on time. The UI of chrome OS looks good when you are on the tablet it looks like an android and in laptop mode, it looks like a window. The multi-windows and split-screen mode will make multitasking easier also the collaboration apps like google docs, sheets, and Slides too. Battery

In the battery department, this tablet can give you a pretty impressive performance. As it comes with a 48Whr battery capacity. It can give you more than 12 hours with a single charge as the company advertised. This battery will run for almost the whole day. So, overall you can say that in the battery department this laptop is decent.

Connectivity

The m3 has two USB C ports for charging, a 4K screen output, faster data transfer, and an accessory connector for a pixel slate keyboard. There is no need for charging or pairing.

Slate M3 has WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 2×2 MIMO, dual-band (2.4 GHz, 5.0 GHz), and Bluetooth 4.2.

Camera

The cameras of this tablet are very impressive you can capture decent photos. Like other products of Google, the camera software is well-optimized. Google spends less on hardware and more on software.

The Google pixel slate comes with a single camera lens at the front and back. Both cameras are 8-megapixel lenses and they can maximum record 1080p video at 30fps. Here google should improve the quality of the video because 1080p is not reasonable. But when we talk about the results which are awesome.

Is it worth Buying?

The Pixel M3 slate was real value for money if it was slightly below the actual price. But still, you can consider the core m3 which can be a decent choice with respect to its price and performance. No doubt, the tablet is well optimized and good in performance but there is still needed some improvements which we mentioned above in the review.
